Jude Edward

After a successful career in IT and selling his company, Jude relocated from London to Poole to provide his daughter with a better upbringing and to be closer to his mother. Together with his friend Jody, a former Poole Grammar student, Jude—a Raffles Institution alumnus from Singapore and an ASEAN scholar—conceptualized a program to support students aspiring to attend selective schools.

Raffles Institution, renowned globally, and recently the top ranked institution globally for Oxbridge admissions (see our article here). It is also a launch pad for numerous students pursuing Ivy League and other prestigious academic paths.

Having guided his daughter to an exceptional 11+ score for Poole and Bournemouth schools, Jude believes he and Jody bring a unique understanding of the challenges children face in preparing for selective school entry, having experienced this process themselves. Jude’s approach focuses on identifying each student’s strengths and limitations, fostering their abilities, and gradually building confidence—all with compassion and perspective.

Jody Ivie

Jody attended Dumpton Prep School before earning a place at Poole Grammar School, where he achieved 11 GCSEs and 4 A-Levels, served as a School Prefect, and later pursued Management Sciences at Loughborough University. After graduating, he gained experience in banking, project management, and extensive travel.

In 2024, Jody partnered with his friend Jude to create a familiarization program aimed at helping students prepare for the 11+ and other selective school entry exams. Passionate about education, Jody is dedicated to helping students unlock their potential, excel in the exams, and thrive in secondary school.
