How do I book a place for my child?
Upon checking availability and recieving confirmation you will secure your childs place by making payment.
The current Paper Class Fee is £40. We operate a block of 5 sessions on a rolling basis so please make a payment for five consecutive weeks in advance (£40 × 5 = £200).

If you encounter any difficulties completing the form, please send an email to info@the402.club. We will email the registration form, fill it out and bring it on the first day of your child’s Paper Class.
Please Note
Paper Class fees are neither refundable nor transferable.
Paper Class prepayment is not accepted. i.e. Paper Class dates cannot be booked in advance. If the payment is made this week, we assume your child is starting this Saturday. This policy is to safeguard places of pupils already registered who may wish to continue future blocks right up until the actual exams.

Once the payment is made, send an e-mail to info@the402.club stating your child’s first name, surname, and contact number.
Payment Confirmation will be sent on the Friday prior to the commencement of the block of 5 classes.
What is the format of the assessment?
Your child will be doing both English and Maths Papers.
45 minutes – Maths paper class
5-10 minutes break
45 minutes – English paper class
20-25 Maths paper class corrections
What is the format of the Paper Class?
Maths: We will be using both Multiple choice and Standard format question papers. Multiple choice questions are relevant to the Selective Eligibility Test and Standard format question papers are relevant to the Second Test.
English: We will be using both Multiple choice and Standard format question papers or Extended Writing Task. Multiple choice questions are relevant to the Selective Eligibility Test and Standard format question papers or Extended Writing Task are relevant to the Second Test.

What should my child bring to the Paper Class?
Two pencils (HB or B), a soft eraser, a pencil sharpener and a ruler in a clear plastic pencil case or bag. If desired, water in a clear plastic sports cap bottle (no fizzy drinks)
Your child must not bring:
* A mobile telephone or any other electronic device.
* A calculator or calculator watch.
* Any piece of stationery which displays multiplication tables or other such information.
* A dictionary.
What structure does it follow?
Maths- The initial 11 weeks of paper classes will be based on chapters. For example:
Weeks 1-4 will be only on four operations
Weeks 5-7 will be only on four operations and fractions and so on…
Paper Class timetable and answers will be available on our website (password protected page)
The following papers from 12 to 42 will be complete papers which will examine all core chapters.
English- The Papers will include questions on comprehension, cloze passage, spellings, punctuation, grammar and vocabulary. The difficulty level will increase as we move along the Paper Classes.
Will there be teaching involved in the Paper Class?
No.
This is a weekly Paper Class arrangement and does not involve any teaching.

When will I see the results of the paper?
The Papers will be marked and given out the following week.
Both papers, English and Maths, will be marked with the Highest Score, Average Score and the Child’s Score.
When and how long will the answers to the papers stay on the website?
The answers will be published on Sunday following the tests at 11am and will be on the Paper Class Timetable and Answers page (Password Protected Page) for two weeks.
Will my child get weekly homework?
No.
This is a weekly test arrangement.
At what time do I have to bring my child on the first day?
Please ensure to bring your child around 20 minutes before on the first day along with the filled in registration forms.
Why do I have to book Paper Classes for five consecutive weeks?
At 402 Club, we strongly believe continuous practice is the key to exam success hence the Paper Classes should be booked for five consecutive weeks. Continuous practice under exam conditions will help your child to gain confidence and improve their score on a weekly basis.
Please note: Paper Class prepayment is not accepted. i.e Paper Class dates cannot be booked in advance. If the payment is made this week, we assume your child is starting from the Saturday on the same week.
Can I pick the five weeks that my child wishes to attend?
No, it has to be for five consecutive weeks.
Please note:
The fee paid is for five consecutive weeks and this cannot be transferred to another day and is not refundable under any circumstances.
What if my child wants to discontinue the Paper Class?
If you wish to discontinue the Paper Classes after the five consecutive weeks, you have to send an email to info@the402.club, if not your child will be charged for the following week/s.
If you wish to continue again, you need to call and check for availability before you make the payment for the next five consecutive weeks.
